Food Factory License

1- If the facility is established in an area under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing or the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the following approvals and licenses must be available: * A valid municipal license. * Approval of the water source by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – General Department for Water Regulation, for bottled water and ice factories. * An industrial license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for food and feed factories, showing the facility status as either under construction or in production. * An environmental permit issued by the National Center for Environmental Compliance, according to the specified activities.

2- facility is established within an industrial or economic city, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, or any equivalent authority, the investor must obtain site approval and the required licenses from the relevant government authorities, including: * A valid operating license issued by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, an economic city, the Royal Commission, or the authority responsible for special economic cities and zones. * Approval of the water source and disposal of reject water, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – General Department for Water Regulation, exclusively for bottled water and ice factories. * An industrial license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for food and feed factories, showing the facility status as either under construction or in production. * An environmental permit issued by the National Center for Environmental Compliance, according to the specified activities.

3- A copy of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certificate for food factories.
